All the current architecture specific defines for these are the same. Refactor these common defines to a common header file. The new common linux/compat_time.h is also useful as it will eventually be used to hold all the defines that are needed for compat time types that support non y2038 safe types. New architectures need not have to define these new types as they will only use new y2038 safe syscalls. This file can be deleted after y2038 when we stop supporting non y2038 safe syscalls. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
