[ Upstream commit c20106944eb679fa3ab7e686fe5f6ba30fbc51e5 ] If nfsd has existing listening sockets without any processes, then an error returned from svc_create_xprt() for an additional transport will remove those existing listeners. We're seeing this in practice when userspace attempts to create rpcrdma transports without having the rpcrdma modules present before creating nfsd kernel processes. Fix this by checking for existing sockets before calling nfsd_destroy(). Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
